Travel Tips

  1. Choose clothes that can serve double duty and can be mixed and matched.
  2. On long trips, plan to wash out your clothes.
  3. For protection against the weather, choose lightweight compressible materials.
  4. You might want to consider lightening your wallet of some of your credit cards and other materials.
  5. Be sure to take comfortable shoes.
  6. Put an ID tag on the outside and inside of each piece of luggage.
  7. Carry medicine, cash, jewelry, business papers, cameras, and other valuables on board with you.
  8. Consider joining the frequent flyer program.
  9. Give a copy of your itinerary and contact telephone numbers to those you leave home.
  10. Have someone pick up your newspapers and mail.
