Nagabuchi Tsuyoshi

Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi is one of the most popular singer song writers in Japan. In 1975, he started concert activities as soon as he entered Kyushu Sangyo University.

Then he won a prize at a pop music contest in the following year. After going to Tokyo, he took a tour of all parts of the country with playing his songs on the rooftops of department stores.

In 1977, he made his debut with "Junrenka". Then his song"Junko" was big hit with over eight hundred thousand records sold in 1980. "Good Bye Seishun" ("Good bye! The spring time of life!") was a hit in 1983.

After three years, he appeared on a movie "Otoko Wa Tsuraiyo" ("Men are in a delicate position") for the first time. Ever since he also have been cutting an outstanding figure as an actor. "Tombo" ("A dragonfly)", "Shabondama(Soap bubbles)"in which he his appeared are popular TV dramas.

However, he was arrested for possessing marijuana in 1995. Since then he suspended all of his activities.

After this trouble, he began to start his activities again. He released his best album. And he has reappeared in TV dramas and commercial, so he has recovered himself completely!
