Kishitani Goro

Kishitani Goro is an actor and personality. In 1983, he joined the troupe of Yuji Miyake called "Super Eccentric Theater" (SET), and appeared on the stage of "T-shirts ha Ken yori Sanjushi.

He appeared on NTV "Sazan no Katte ni Night" as a regular. After that, he organized the unit with Yasufumi Terawaki who also came from SET, and started their activity independently.

In 1993, he won the "New Face Cinema Prize" for the film "Tsuki ha Docchi ni Deteiru". Then, he won popularity at TV drama " Kono Ai ni Ikite", "Imouto yo", and "Koibito yo".

He isn't handsome but he has good skills which make other people laugh. Besides he is a competent man who can act both comical and serious parts.

Besides he appears in many TV dramas like "Minikui Ahiru no Ko", "Tsuki no Kagayaku Yoru dakara", and "Brothers", radio and cinema in the past five years.

In 1996, he married Kaori Okui who was a vocalist of group called "Princess Princess".
