Hashimoto Michiyo was born on July 6th ,1972 in Neyagawa, Osaka, Japan. She took part in the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City. She is a Half-Pipe Snowboard Competitor. She first started snowboarding when she was 24 years old. After 5 years, she became a Japan National team member and she got her professional license in Japan. Her height is about 152cm, and she weighs about 42kg. Although she is a small woman, she has great power.
She is 6th in the world ranking. In the 2002 Winter Olympic Games she placed 12th but this result was wonderful!! At the 2001 FIS World Cup in Whistler, Canada she won a silver medal. After winning the medal she has attracted many great sponsors including Burton, Smith, and Briko.
