Layout

Now you set up margins of papers.

If you define only the margins of both sides, you can change them by dragging the triangle and with the mouse.

  1. If you choose 'Layout Page...' from the menu bar or click on the top right of the window, a small image of the document which you make now appears.

  2. If you choose 'Set Margins...' from 'Layout' on the menu bar or click on the top of the window, asub-window 'Set Margins and Columns' appears.

  3. With changing the numerical value of 'Margins', you set up margins. You can divide 1 page into several columns vertically with 'Number of' of 'Columns'. 'Gutter Width' means width between columns.

  4. With the left icon of on the top right on the window, you can set up about papers, and with the right icon to set up about printing. (This way will be explained in the next section 'printing'.)
