Paragraph forms & Rulers
"Paragraph forms"
In Nisus Writer, you can define and change indents of the first
line, points of each side of lines, tabs, spaces between lines
and pafagraphs at each paragraph. These items are called
"Paragraph rulers".
"Paragraph"
The places of new lines with the
mark are regarded as ends of paragraphs. Select
button on the bottom left of the
window, and
will be displayed at
the places of ends of paragraphs with pusiing 'return key'.
"Rulers"
Rulers are icons that are displayed at the heads of the
paragraphs whose forms are changed in documents. Select 'ruler
display button'
on the bottom
left of the window, and 'ruler icons'
will appear in spaces on the left of the
windows.
"Changing of paragraph forms"
First, select a paragraph or a ruler.
- If you move the point to one part in a document and change
forms, a ruler will be inserted automatically and the forms of
the paragraph which contains the insertion point will be changed.
The forms of the next paragpaph will not be changed.
- If you select a ruler and change the form like this
, you can change all of the text
controlled by that ruler mark at one time.
- If you select several paragraphes without rulers and change
forms, a ruler will be inserted automatically at the head of the
paragraph. The forms of the later paragraph will not be
changed.
- If you select several paragraphes whose forms are different
and change them, you can change the forms of all the paragraphes.
It will not change other settings for these paragraphes.
