Sound Menu

Speech

Usually in Nisus Writer, texts typed in Japanese, English, Franch, German, Spanish, Italian can be recited, however, in Nisus Writer in 31 room of this university texts in Japanese cannot be recited.

  1. Click the icon on the right-top of the window to display the sound bar, and the sound bar will appear.

  2. Select parts which you want to have spoken by Nisus Writer.

  3. Select a language from "Speech Voices" on the "Sound menu".

  4. Click the button "Speak" on the sound bar.

Insert Sound

You can insert a sound icon in a document, and record and play back the sound.

Recording

  1. Move the insert point where you want to insert sounds.

  2. Click the button to display the sound bar on the right-top of the window.

  3. Use a microphone on the monitor.

  4. Click the button "Rec" on the sound bar.

  5. Start speaking to the microphone as the recording microphone icon on the left-top of the menu bar starts turning on and off, which means a start to record.

  6. Click "Pause" or "Stop" to stop recording.

The sound icon will be inserted.

Playing back

  1. Select the sound icon .

  2. Click the "Play" button on the sound bar.
