Mitsugi Sato and Syunzo Seto were the founders of Yukijirushi. They designed the mark. They got a hint from the school mark of their common old school, Sapporo Daiichi Junior High School(present Sapporo Minami High School), and they arranged a snow crystal symbolized Hokkaido and the North Star represented northern districts in the center.
