Kazuya Yoshii is the one of the member of The Yellow Monkey. He is the part of lead vocal and guitar. His nickname is "Lovin"

In 1989, because the former vocalist left, he changed from being a guitarist to a vocalist. That was the time when, they started The Yellow Monkey.

Their most famous song is "JAM" which sold 80000 copiess. He became a director for the first time when he made its promotion video.

He is not only active in the field of music, he has published books such as "Mituiro no tegami" and "Osenti Nikki"

On January 8, 2001, after the live concert in Tokyo, The Yellow Momkey temporarily stopped performing.

On October 9, 2001, he took part in the live "John Lennon Super Live". Then he said that "I was glad to sing songs in front of many people."
