There are a lot of comic storytellers in Japan, but Shofukutei Tsurube is more interesting than any other comic storyteller in Japan.
When Shofukutei Tsurube whose real name was Suruga Manabu was a student in Naniwa High school, he always played a lot of tricks on his teacher. For example, while his teacher was writing words on blackboard, he directed his classmates turn their backs to him. Since he was popular with his classmates, his friends advised him to become a comic storyteller. However, he decided to enter Kyoto Sangyo University, because his father did not want him to become one, so he made the comic storyteller club which was named the Rakugonagaya in that university.
