Pink Lady is the name of a duet. In those days, their bold costume and choreograpy achieved great popularity among young people. Girls used to dance in imitation of them.

Mie and Kei were best friends in their high school days. In 1976, they took part in an audition program "Star Tanjou," which they passed admirably. Then they formed "Pink Lady." In the same year, they debuted as a singer. Their debut song was "Peppa Keibu."And their records came to a million cellar one after another. For example, "Nagisa No Shindobaddo," Wanted," and "UFO". They won "The Nihon Record Prize" in 1978.

But in 1981, they broke up the group. But they have been still popular, so in 1988, they took part in "Kouhaku Uta Gassen," which is a music program. And now both of them are in action as actresses and singers.
