The band name Lindberg is from the name of Charles Lindberg, the aviator who achieved a non-stop trans-Atlantic flight in the Spirit of St. Louis by himself. So, they defined, as a concept, overcoming all hardships to realize big dreams and go ahead.
Lindberg was formed in 1988. They started recording for their debut album in 1988. In 1989, they released their debut single and album, "Route 246" and "Lindberg I". They have released many singles and albums since.
The most famous tune of Lindberg is "Imasugu-Kiss Me". This tune is their best seller. This tune is recorded on "Lindberg III", and the name of Lindberg became famous through this tune.
This year, they celebrated their 10th anniversary, so they released a best album, "Lindberg Best", as a 10th anniversary momento of Lindberg 1988-1998.
