Honma Sadaki

In 1954, Sadaki was born in Kushiro. He is famous as an ice hockey player, and was called a new star of Japanese ice hockey when he started his career.

When he was a student at Tottori junior high school, he belonged to the ice hockey club. The ice hockey club was very strong among Japanese junior high schools. Of course, Sadaki was a key member and he soon became famous in the Japanese ice hockey world.

A few years later, he joined the Oji Company's professional team. Oji has always been a strong team and has won the league championship many times. Although Oji's history is long, Sadaki is still the most famous, popular and talented player. He was the leading scorer, assist leader, and selected as the most valuable player many times. For this he was loved by everyone.

After resigning as a player, he became the Head Coach of Oji. He was an active coach, and admired by many ice hockey players. He led Oji to the championships many times.

Now, Sadaki is an announcer of ice hockey games including the Winter Olympics in Nagano and Salt Lake and Japanese ice hockey league games.

Forever, he is a hero.
