Masahiko Harada was born in Kamikawa, Hokkaido on May 9, 1968. My alma mater, he was employed by Snow Brand Milk Products after graduation from the fourth high school of Tokai University in Sapporo.

In the Nagano Olympic Games, he won the bronze medal in the large hill competition, and the gold medal in the team competition. In the Albertville 16th Winter Olympics in 1992, the team placed 2nd and then gained 4th place in the World Championship in 1993. Finally they won 1st place in the 1994 17th Lillehammer Winter Games. In the world championships in 1995 and 1997, they won 3rd place and 1st place respectively.
