Ganaha Mina

Mina Ganaha was born in Amami Oshima in Kagoshima prefecture. In 1990 when she was in elementary school, she took part in the "Teens music festival of Oshima" as the vocalist of "Little dinosaur" and they won. This tournament led to her future on a proffesional singer.

In 1996 she went to Tokyo to prepare for her debut. She released her first single "Sakura no koro" on February 21,1998. Successively, she released her second single "Binetsu" on August 1 and third single "Tears" on October 31. On November 1, she appeared the stage of culture festival on Aoyama Gakuin University which was the first proffesional appearance.

In 1999, she was even more active. On March 10, she released her first album "Kimini todoku made." At the end of that month, she started her first live tour in Fukuoka, Osaka and Tokyo. Her shows were well-attended. On June 23, she released her fourth long-awaited single "All I wish." On October, she started Cultural festival tour for three universities. On November 3, she released her fifth single "Taiyo." This song was noticed because she wrote words by herself for the first time.

Now she has two regular proglams. One is the "Vibe index" on Sky perfecTV!, DirecTV! and CATV. The other is "Music freaks" on FM Osaka. She is very popular, especially in the Kansai area.
