Narrow Band Noise Suppression by Adaptive Notch Filter
Ham-noise, howling, MRI noise, etc., are narrow band noises.
An adaptive notch filter can suppress a narrow band noise whose
frequency is unknown.

Since the adaptive notch filter automaticaly removes the narrow band noise,
the tracking speed is the most important factor.
We have proposed a parallel adaptive notch filter which achieves high convergence speed and high estimation accuracy, simultaneously.

We used a sinusoid mixed with a white noise as an observed signal,
where the sinusoid is unwanted signal.
From results, we see that the parallel notch filter attains high convergence speed.
