JUN CORPUS

    1. JUN CORPUS is freely available to researchers. Any researcher interested
in child language acquisition may use these data freely.

        Warnings:
         (1) All the sessions consist of the conversation between Father and Child
and were recorded in natural settings in the house.
         (2) Reliability was not checked.
         (3) The length of the observational sessions varies.
         (4) Some of the movies, especially earlier ones, are not very clear due to the weather
               conditions when they were taken.
         (5) File name shows the child's age. For example:
              00601 means 0 year 06 month 01 day
              30816 means 3 year 08 month 16 day.

     3. The data include only the utterances of participants with few situational descriptions,
as it was very complicated to describe the situations fully. Chat files and movie files are
         obtainable from CHILDES (http://childes.psy.cmu.edu/).

     4. JUN is a third child in the family with a brother Ken and a sister Yasuko.
The family lived in Kyoto City and moved to Kusatsu City, Shiga Pref.,
where JUN was born. The family speaks the Kyoto dialect.
