Greetings,
We have reached the last issue of Volume 3, and would like to thank all those who have helped us over the past four issues. Our Editorial Board works tirelessly to review articles in short time periods. We don't always succeed, but we do always appreciate the effort. In addition to our full Board, I would like to thank some outside reviewers who read manuscripts for Volume 3. They are:

We are also happy to welcome a new Media Review Editor, Amy Burns Short. Amy is Director of Graduate Student Teaching Programs at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, where she oversees English proficiency testing of international teaching assistants and graduate students, as well as coordinates support colloquia and programs for both American and international graduate students. She has an M.A. in TESOL from Murray State University, Murray, Kentucky, where she was Coordinator of Instructional Materials and ESL Instructor at MSU's Institute of International Studies. Her bachelor's degree is in journalism from University of the Virgin Islands, St. Thomas Virgin Islands. She brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the job, and we look forward to a rejuvenated media review section of the journal.
As the technology changes, so must we. In June of 1999 (a few short months away), the server at UC Berkeley that manages our mailing list will be shut down. If you're reading this on the Web, this will not affect you at all. However, beginning with Volume 4, we will no longer offer the journal in ascii-only format via a listserv archive. Our experience tells us that nearly everyone that has Internet access [-2-]
also has Web access. But, let us know what you think! If this affects you greatly, we need to know. If you are a current subscriber, we will continue to notify you of new issues. Watch for more information on the web site or in your e-mail.
We hope you enjoy this issue, and that you continue to pass the word that we are here. Our sphere of influence and recognition is growing, and that's because of loyal readers. Thank you!
