- The campus of KSU is located in the northern part of Kyoto city and is reachable by bus or taxi from a few subway stations of Karasuma Subway Line. The convenient subway stations for access to KSU are Kitaooji Station and Kokusai Kaikan terminal. Detailed information on public transportation inside Kyoto city is obtained from KSU HomePage. "When you arrive at KSU campus please follow signs which lead you to the conference site (Building 12)." At the bus terminal you find a long escalator (moving staircase). Please go on the escalator. If you are not so tired you can also go up the stairs just beside the escalator. Then the signs lead you to the conference site. As Building 12 is a brand-new building it has just appeared on the campus map [Campus Map ]. On the campus map, the number "6" indicates Building 12. Actually, Building 12 is located in between two buildings Nigokan (Building 2) and Sangokan (Building 3). Therefore, in fact the conference site is in the hetero-structured building of new Building 12 and very old Building 2 and Building 3. Building 12 looks like a castle. Threrefore, it is not so difficult for you to find it. When you approach the conference site from the bus terminal you find the castle on your left hand side. The conference rooms are in the 3rd floor of the castle. To get to the 3rd floor please go up in the elevator. Of course, you can go up the stairs to get exercise. In case you want to visit Prof. Ito's office, please come to older Building 2 (Faculty of Science) that is linked to Building 12. His office is Room xx on the 3rd floor. Please feel free to call Prof. M. Ito if you have any trouble.
